Project Description: 'Survey of households and SME's in Somaliland' .The project is funded by the World Bank and is to provide technical support for the conduct of a Household (HH) and SME Survey in Somaliland. Work will involve the implementation of a survey designed to assess household characteristics and the business environment in which small and medium size enterprises operate in Somaliland. The total expected implementation period is 9 months.
SME Surveys:
The goal of the SME Survey will be to interview approximately 500 formal establishments in all sectors (with possibility of stratification is data is available). In addition a number of informal firms will be surveyed as part of the HH survey, as described below. The final decision of sectors covered will be made on the basis of the available frame data.
Supervisors should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as supervisors in face–to-face surveys
