Kenya : Somalis demonstrate in Eastleigh in protest of armed robbery (Photos)

Somalis in Eastliegh district of Nairobi took to the streets today in protest of a widespread robbery of the businesses and Somali owned properties . The protests were ignited after seven Somali owned shops were looted with all the merchandise and goods inside taken without any security forces coming to catch the culprits .
Merchants in Eastleigh said that " the security in the business areas dominated  by the Somalis is very poor and that the Kenyan government has failed to protect their business against gangs targeting Somalis ethnic business owners " .
