Talks between Somaliland and Somalia postponed

(Medeshi)- Talks between Somaliland and Somalia have been postponed indefinitely after the Somaliland delegation objected to some of the members representing Somalia.

According to Geeska Afrika , Somaliland has objected to the inclusion of Mohamed Abdi Mareeye who is the minister of information of Somalia in the negotiations committee. Somaliland has put a condition that until Mr . Mareeye is removed from the negations committee , there will be no talks with Somalia.
Somaliland seceded from Somalia on May 18   1991 after a bloody civil war that had  left tens of thousands dead.
