Somali passport offers access better than Ethiopian and Djibouti passports –report

In a report published by CNN Money and Passport Index , the Somali passports is ranked as better than those of Ethiopia and Dijbouti as well as Afghanistan, Iraq, Ethiopia, Nepal ,South Sudan, Solomon Islands, Palestinian Territories, Sao Tome and Principe, Myanmar .

The measurement comes based on the number of countires that a countries passport can give access to travel. The Somali passport gives access to 39 countries while those of  Afghanistan, Djibouti, Iraq, Ethiopia, Nepal ,South Sudan, Solomon Islands, Palestinian Territories, Sao Tome and Principe, Myanmar give access to 38 countries and lower .
The top countries with strongest passports are ranked as follows  with the number of countries they offer access:
U.S., U.K. (147 countries)
France, South Korea, Germany (145)
Sweden, Italy (144)
Denmark, Singapore, Finland, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands (143)
Switzerland (142)
And the bottom-ranked passports:
Congo (Dem. Rep.), Yemen, Central African Republic, Kosovo (41)
Equatorial Guinea, Bhutan, Comoros, Burundi (40)
Somalia, Eritrea (39)
Afghanistan, Djibouti, Iraq, Ethiopia, Nepal (38)
South Sudan, Solomon Islands, Palestinian Territories, Sao Tome and Principe, Myanmar (28)
This shows  a light at the end of the tunnel as Somalia moves forward despite obstacles such as resource based conflicts and religious extremism.
