Slough - Three men arrested for stabbing victim Wa-ays Dhaye

Police has been granted a warrant to keep three men in custody while they continue questioning them in connection with the killing of 18-year-old Slough man Wa-ays Dhaye - known as Bigs.

Slough Observer - Police has been granted a warrant to keep three men in custody while they continue questioning them in connection with the killing of 18-year-old Slough man Wa-ays Dhaye - known as Bigs.

The men were arrested on Friday, in connection with the fatal stabbing of Bigs.


The warrant for further detention was granted at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.


Officers were called to the junction of Thurston Road and Waterbeach Road, Manor Park, shortly after 11.10pm on Monday (31/8) following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Mr Dhaye was taken to Wexham Park Hospital but died of his injuries.

He is believed to have been on his way home from the Notting Hill Carnival when a group of people attacked him.

A post mortem which took place on Tuesday (1/9) established that the cause of death was multiple stab wounds.

Two of the men being questioned were arrested on suspicion of murder, while the third was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
