About me

I am a Somalilander from Erigavo and born in Medeshi. I am good in numbers (maths) and computers. I wrote my first COBOL programme in 1985 for IKEA while working for a Filipino company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I  also do accounting and business management. 
Previously, I have managed Toyland which owns large American Toy stores in Saudi Arabia, for almost 15 years before I moved to Somaliland and started working as admin/finance manager for PENHA in Hargiesa , Somaliland. I moved to UK in 2004 where I worked for the same organisation at its office at Chancery Lane in central London until August 2004.
I am currently the director of  charity company  in Surrey, England  and the editor and owner of  Medeshivalley.com.
My hobbies are reading  ,  politics and blogging .
I am married with 6 children and 6 grand children.
