At least 11 dead in Somalia clashes

(Medeshi)- AAP February 24, 2013 - AT least 11 people have been killed in clashes between rival pro-government clan-based militias in the southern Somalia port of Kismayo, witnesses say.

The Dutch government should not deport Somalis to any part of south-central Somalia , including Mogadishu, until security improves substantially, and the UN refugee agency has issued new guidelines. In mid-February 2013, Dutch authorities said they planned to deport two rejected Somali asylum seekers, originally from Mogadishu, back to Somalia on February 20 and 23.

Kenya : At least seven killed in Liboi mosque attack

Sars-like virus death reported in UK

A patient infected with a new respiratory illness similar to the deadly Sars virus has died in the UK.
He was being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and died on Sunday morning, the hospital has confirmed.

(Medeshi)-DUBAI- A 30-year-old woman who was forced into prostitution tried to escape from her brothel by climbing down the pipes but lost her grip and fell to the ground, breaking her back.The Dubai Criminal Court heard this morning how the Bangladeshi came to the UAE to work as a maid for an Emirati family in Fujairah before she absconded.
